Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 9, 2026
The most important thing first: Zazti never saves and never sends any video or image of the players. The camera is processed entirely on your own device, inside your browser, and nothing from the camera ever leaves it — not to us, not to anyone.
Zazti (zazti.com) is a free, browser-based motion game platform made for children ages 3–12 and their families. Because our players are kids, we built Zazti to collect as little as possible — and this page explains, in plain language, exactly what that is.
The camera: everything stays on your device
- Zazti games use your device's camera so children can play by moving their bodies.
- All motion detection runs locally on your device, inside your web browser.
- The camera feed is never recorded, never stored, and never transmitted — not to us, not to anyone. No photos, video, or audio ever leave your device.
- We do not collect biometric identifiers. The body-position data ("pose landmarks") computed during play is processed on your device and discarded; it is not sent to our servers.
What we do collect, and why
- A nickname and avatar emoji that the player chooses, used to show their profile and scores. Please use a made-up nickname, not a real full name.
- A random device token — a randomly generated code stored on your device. It contains no personal details and is not linked to any identity. We use it so the same device can keep its saved profile, scores, and achievements.
- Game data: scores, achievements, difficulty, and session information (which game was played and for how long), linked only to the random device token.
- Anonymous usage counts: we count events like "a game was started today" as plain daily totals. These counts contain no identifiers of any kind — we can see that a game was played 100 times, but not by whom.
We use this information only to run Zazti: saving progress, showing scoreboards, keeping games fair, and understanding which games kids enjoy. This is the "support for internal operations" of the service — it is never used to contact anyone, build a profile of any individual, or show advertising.
What we don't do
- No advertising of any kind — no ads, no ad networks, no behavioral targeting.
- No third-party analytics SDKs (no Google Analytics, no Firebase, or similar).
- No selling, renting, or sharing of data with third parties.
- No accounts, emails, phone numbers, locations, or contact lists — we never ask for them.
- No social features with strangers — multiplayer means kids playing together in front of one camera.
Service providers
Zazti is hosted on Cloudflare (content delivery and serverless storage). Like any web host, Cloudflare processes IP addresses transiently to deliver the website and protect it from abuse (for example, rate limiting). We do not store IP addresses with any game or profile data.
Data retention and deletion
- Profile, score, and achievement data is kept only while the profile remains in use.
- Anonymous usage counters are automatically deleted after about 13 months.
- Settings and progress stored on your own device (browser local storage) can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
Questions, issues, or deletion
For any issue — including reviewing or deleting the data saved for your child's device — contact us at [email protected] and we'll take care of it promptly. Deleting saved data never affects the ability to play.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect.
